Xu Tiantian speaks to urbanNext in the context of the Obel Award Talks at the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 in Copenhagen. Her work inhabiting abandoned quarries with adaptive re-use strategies is not only giving an architectural response to post-extractive landscapes, but is also contributing to the mitigation of climate change.
