| Summary, etc. |
Amale Andraos, Dean Emeritus at Columbia GSAPP and co-founder of WORKac, discusses the appetite from the students to weave intersections across issues such as equity and climate change. She supports making climate central to the profession and highlights the responsibility of faculty member to foster theoretical investigations, experimentation and social engagement within architectural education. Finally she mentions key aspects of WORKac’s collaborations with the Ant Farm collective and how these produce tensions between avant-gardes and performances versus the real. |
