Ezio Manzini is a design researcher and political, social and environmental activist. He is president of DESIS Network, an international network of schools of design, active in the field of design for social innovation and sustainability, Distinguished Professor at Elisava in Barcelona, and Honorary Professor at the Politecnico di Milano.

In this video, he talks about the book ‘Plug-Ins’ (Actar Publishers, 2022), which he co-authored with Albert Fuster and Roger Paez, and about how to design public spaces that allow the community to take ownership of the place.
