Sara Stevens is an architectural and urban historian and founding member of Architects Against Housing Alienation (AAHA). Her research focuses on real estate developers of the 20th century in Canada and the United States.

Along with Adrian Blackwell, David Fortin, Matthew Soules, Patrick Stewart, and Tijana Vujosevic, she is one of the curators of the Canada pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, exhibited from May 20 to November 26, 2023. The curatorial work researches on the roots of housing alienation and explores initiatives to change the current housing system in Canada, through reparative architecture and co-housing among other social, ecological and creative solutions.
