Meritxell Inaraja, won the competition for recovering the Unió the Cooperadors, a prime example of Catalan rationalist architecture by Josep Lluís Sert and Josep Torres Clavé from 1936. The project not only aims to preserve the architecture but also the ideas the architects infused in the building.
