520 _aAs a consequence of its geography and climate, Chile has some of the best places for the installation of renewable energy production infrastructures in the world. From the driest desert with the highest solar radiation in the north, to the flow and power of rivers born in the Andes meandering down to the central valleys, and the glaciers and the tides of the Strait of Magellan at the southern tip of the continent.
